about.
Professional.
Working across different industries and roles isn’t what 18-year-old me imagined my career would look like but it’s been an adventure, and one that has been full of learning curves and exciting opportunities!
I took a gap year after school, which exposed me to many mediums for creative expression. I quickly found myself drawn to photography, but noticed the creative process, no matter the medium, was something that hooked me. After a few years of freelancing and temporary jobs, I landed my first stable position as a video editor. This role felt like a dream at the time. It became my foundation for growth, pushing me creatively, professionally and personally.
But like many others, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected change, and I found myself navigating uncertainty once again. By the end of 2021, I had taken a leap by moving to a new country to start a new life. Over the next few years, I worked as a barista and later a shift manager, roles that gave me space to step back, reflect, and reconsider what I truly wanted from my career.
That reflection led me to UX design. It felt like a natural convergence of my creative background, my interest in people, and my desire to build a world that values those people. The values at the heart of UX — empathy, intention, and user-centred thinking — closely align with my personal ethos, making this path feel both exciting and deeply personal.

Personal.
I feel most like myself in slower moments, curled up with my two cats nearby, listening to music, reading, or letting my mind wander wherever it wants to go. I tend to notice the little things: a flicker of a broken light, a window slightly off in colour, or the face of a stranger I’ve passed a hundred times. Calm, thoughtfully balanced spaces make me happiest in a quaint café, a friend’s living room, or my own, yet I can’t resist the occasional thrill of a bustling environment.
Photography has been my go-to creative medium for years, even if it’s mostly through my phone these days. Rooted in my love for music, I’m learning and experimenting with instruments too, just following curiosity wherever it leads. Activities that let me create, explore, and connect light me up: board games and TTRPGs with friends, volunteering at an animal shelter, or simply being present for the people around me.
Above all, I care about curiosity, kindness, and noticing the little things that make life richer. That’s what keeps me engaged — in work, in play, and in life in general.
Manifesto.
I believe design should create value, not needlessly exist — just because we can doesn’t mean we should. When I design, I focus on making experiences that genuinely support people, balancing usability with beauty so that interacting with a product feels safe, intuitive, and enjoyable. I care about accessibility and inclusivity, making sure innovation is for everyone, not just a few. My curiosity, empathy, and attention to detail guide every choice I make, and I strive to create work that is thoughtful, human, and delightful.
